Correct:The below image shows what the star finder says you would see if you
looked south. Note that the star finder displays a fairly distorted
view near the circular edge of the star map. Thus the "teapot"
of Sagittarius is
distorted on the right hand side of this images (i.e., towards
the southwest).
If you remain turned towards the south, but raise your eyes
to look directly overhead (in a direction called zenith) you would
see this:
At the center of this image is the head of the northern cross
(star Deneb in the constellation Cygnus): it is at zenith.
